The idea that links of my experiences together is the first. There is a first time for everything. Through out a life, there could be millions of firsts. The first time you do something is so important because it is then you decide what you like and who you are. The first time you ride a bike, learn to walk or tie your shoes are some of the biggest things in your life. That's why there are all those silly home videos. I picked the first physics class I took in high school, the first physics class I took in college and the first time I ever inspire a student. These are three firsts that have and will forever change me life. I picked a quote from Mark Twain to represent my firsts.

“April 1. This is the day upon which we are reminded of what we are on the other three hundred and sixty-four.”

I think this quote is perfect because my birthday is April first. This was the first day of my life and my very first, first. The first day I every took a breath and lived. This will forever be the most important day of my life. Also, my birthday is a great time to reflect on who I am and what I am doing with my life.
